The California DOJ now requires a special FFL verification approval number / firearms shipment approval letter prior to a dealer shipping a firearm to a dealer in California.

This is a solution in search of a problem.

The BATF provides dealers with a sufficient method of verifying the validity of the FFL and their premise address. The federal laws governing acquisition and disposition are more than adequate.

We urge California residents to do everything within their legal means to correct the ways of their out of control legislators.
